The Widget has been very unreliable for birthdays since I upgraded to Snow Leopard. Sometimes I can get it to come back after messing around with my address book and iCal. Then if I only let my computer sleep and don’t shut down, they remain. As soon as I shut down totally, they are gone again. Help, I find this most frustrating as I rely upon these each month as reminders to buy cards.

I already have a birthday calendar in my ical. No birthdays in my address book. How do I add from ICAL?

Same story… does not work with snow leopard… any updates!! let us know if not we could see if there are any other options…

Use to use it all the time worked great for me too.
Until I switched to Snow leopard OS.
I think i’ll keep the new OSX.

The birthday widget does not work with Snow Leopard. Are you going to update it?

Program is spectacular! People love when their b’days are remembered. I never remember them.
Wat would be cool is if you could have them sent out to a message on the desktop also.

My twin daughters share their birthday on 29 February. Last year their birthday showed up as “upcoming” but nothing. This year is not a leaf year so I got no notification of their birthday. Fortunately they didn’t let me forget but could anything be done to make the date show up on the 28th?
