I’ve moved all of the blog entries from the Trove into this site, so if you were a Trove visitor, welcome to the new home. The download links for all of your dashboard widgets are now in the sidebar, so you can still get them here.
I’m contemplating porting GuitarChords to another platform so it can reach a broader audience. My current thoughts are:
- Yahoo Widgets
- Java application for mobile phones, PDAs, etc.
Not sure what people might find most useful.

the upcoming birthdays widget still links to the trove site when help is clicked, no help there though!
question: did you know there’s a recent bug which makes birthdays happening today being aannounced as “tomorrow”
very confusing…
i love this widget… please have a look at it!

this has been fixed in the 1.5.2 release which you can download now

The guitar chords widget is brilliant and more useful than 85% of the crap I have on my computer, widget or no. Especially nifty is the way it will find chords in alternate tunings. Well done indeed! I wish it had been around about 10 years ago.

Thanks for Guitar Chords! Excellent.
Are you sure it’s correct on the “5″ chords (power chords)? It seems to be missing the most obvious fingerings (i.e. an F5 at 133xxx)
