Please ignore, or delete, my comment of this morning. I have done for thorough tests today and cannot replicate it. My latest theory is that I may need to restart Zonetag, or simply reconnect it to the GPS, after any temporary periods where the GPS lock is lost.

However, I'll need to test it even more to even verify this theory. For now, I am happy to say that the images can be tagged correctly, even if the upload occurs later and in a different location to the capture. Secondly, the location logging does seem to work properly, taking a reading every minute of so. Perhaps I simply misused it last night.

I found that Shozu made my phone really unstable. Uninstalled and it's steady as a rock (again).

(The v12 firmware, if you're interested.)

You should check out ZoneTag from Yahoo Research Berkeley. They just released the 3rd edition version that works on the N95 with gps.

You also get suggested tags for flickr based on your location and immediate upload with geo tags. Basically it's awesome.

How do you get ShoZu installed on your Nokia N95, because I have the phone, and have visited the ShoZu site, but the N95 is not listed as a supported phone, and I even tried to download the software after picked a similar phone, but the software once downloaded to the phone told me my phone is not recognized... so I am puzzled as to how it works. There are so many sites like yours commenting on this program while using the Nokia N95.
