I’ve been a fan of Michael Ruhlman for a little while. I’ve read a few of his books and read his blog. I was familiar with Ratio the book but hadn’t gotten around to purchasing needless to say I was happy to find out about Ratio for the iPhone.
Love the app here are a few ideas for improvements.
For browsing rather than having to return to the upper left had corner to go back a screen in the menus. A swipe action would be sweet or the category button pressed while in that category would serve the same purpose shift back in the menu.
Also at the moment there are just three colors in the ratio section. It would help to color categorize. Right now they are different for every ratio. Add a color and keep the colors the same for ingredients from ratio to ratio. Blue =water yellow = flour orange = fat purple = sugar
Great app, great start. Would love this app to be refined and become amazing.

Ratio is a nearly perfect app and possibly my favorite so far since I have had iPhone. However the when I click in the blog feature the blog page appeara and then immediately the app closes. Could you check into this?
